„Know what’s on your plate — because one experience changed everything.“
Who I Am
My name is Chi Kei Yung. I am a second-generation chef, born in Hong Kong, living in Frankfurt since 1982. In 1988, I opened China Restaurant Yung in Frankfurt’s Nordend — with a promise to cook Cantonese cuisine as authentically as my family taught me.
I also hold six nutrition certifications. In our family, healthy eating has played a life-changing role. This experience drove me to combine culinary craft with evidence-based nutrition knowledge.
On chinayung.de, I share this knowledge — not as a doctor, but as a chef who knows that food can do more than just fill you up.
